We have all heard this phrase before, “You need to try Yoga!” For some of us this can be a difficult feat, walking into the doors of the unknown. We want to make that first step for you as comfortable as possible. Here at Spiral Yoga we offer several classes that can serve as your first step. We are here to help support your growth and we're so excited for your yoga journey.
FAQs
How do I sign up?
You can click on profile or class schedule to sign up or purchase classes. Everything will be kept up with online, from class passes, memberships, class reminders, waiting list, etc. We want this to be an easy process for you. You are also able to sign up for classes in the studio, please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for us to complete your profile and sign waiver.
Do you have to be felxible for yoga?
Although yoga will help you increase in flexibility mentally and physically, it is not a prerequisite.
What do i need to bring to class?
A yoga mat….Dont have one? No worries you can borrow or buy one from the studio. If you happen to sweat a lot you may want to bring a towel and a bottle of water, especially for our hot yoga or vinyasa classes.
Do I have to practice barefoot?
Yoga is practiced barefoot, allowing you to become more grounded and stable in your poses. However, you are more than welcome to keep your socks on but if you choose to do so we find the ones with grip on the bottom work best.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you like, as long as it's comfortable and allows you to move well.
What classes are best for beginners?
Beginner friendly classes will be marked with an * asterisk on our class descriptions. However, please feel free to try a different class that best suits your schedule. Modifications are offered in every class based on your needs.
Is experience required?
We love newbies. It is always such an honor to be able to share our love for yoga with others. So no experience is required. We would encourage you to try the introduction series, classes geared for beginners and of course one on one sessions if you're not ready for a class yet.
Is yoga for everyone?
